Okay, so if the Earth were the size of a golf ball, Canis Majoris would be the height of Mount Everest; that means you could fit 7 quadrillion Earths inside of Canis Majoris, that's enough golf balls to fill up the state of Texas 22 inches deep. Just so you know, 1 million seconds ago is 12 days ago, 1 billion seconds ago is 1975, 1 trillion seconds ago is 29,700 BC but the Earth was not even around yet then. Now are you ready for this? 1 quadrillion seconds ago is 30,800,000 years ago so I am going to say Canis Majoris is pretty big.

that,s our sun

canis majoris is the biggest star that we know of, so just think how big this is compared to earth. and you thought the earth was big and you are super super small compared to the earth that should make you feel puny.

This is a picture of the Whirlpool Galaxy. Very pretty, but what's best is what's inside. See previous post.

There is a galaxy 31 million light years away called the Whirlpool Galaxy. The Hubble Telescope took a picture of inside the middle of this galaxy, and this is the picture that NASA got from the Hubble. What do you think?
